What is Bus Surfing?

The act of attempting to ride a bus by standing in the aisle like a surfer. The goal is to stand for as long as possible without touching anything (seats, poles, people) for support.
Often a competition between two people to see who can stand the longest.

traveling all day on different buses but not going anywhere. Get off one bus and get onto another one and hope by the end of the day your at least semi close to home. Extra points for train surfing and ferry surfing. For a 7 hour day (
