What is Candidate?

A candidate is the prospective recipient of an award or honor or a person seeking or being considered for some kind of position.
A sweat-inducing fecal discharge you enter in to the Poop of the Year competition, usually characterized by teeth-grinding, hole burning and otherwise uncomfortable toilet sitting.
Afterward; a sense of transcendence and accomplishment followed by peace and happiness/better fitting pants.

Someone who you think might be worthy of dating. Usually just a really hot chick who'd you think you'd like to get to know and see if you want to date her. If after you get to know them a little, and you still think they are a candidate - thats pretty damn rare and u better think bout getting a ring =P
