Capshaw

What is Capshaw?

1.

verb.

To get an acting role in a production based on connection with the producer(s) or filmmaker(s), especially applicable when the end result is poorly received.

Derived from Kate Capshaw and the misconception that her cringe-worthy role in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" was a result of her romance with director Steven Spielberg. In reality, however, the movie came before the romance.

John capshawed his way into the movie because his dad funded the production.
