What is Catapang?

Home made musical instrument. Take one cat and one elastic band, grab the cat by the hind legs and tightly stretch the elastic band over its' tea towel holder. Play the instrument by flicking the band with your tongue whist blowing up its' clink. Tiddles will belt out a cracking tune every time.

I was playing the Catapang last night in a jazz quartet and the bastard backfired on me.
