Catapraxis

What is Catapraxis?

1.

Unconventional wisdom or learning; contrary to popular belief. From the Greek kata - "against, contrary or opposed to," - and the Greek praxis - "practice, as distinguished from theory; application or use, as of knowledge or skills."

Man, I just finished reading "Moneyball." Billy Beane and the Oakland A's are completely different from the Yankees. The Yankees just spend money. The A's are all about catapraxis.
