Northeast US slang for cheap, loud, obnoxious, boisterous people; usually refers to, but not only, the Italian-American community. The Italian equivalent of
Those people that took home all the leftover eggplant parmigiana from the party without even asking are such cavones.

It closely translates to, "Vultures." It's used by Italians, mostly, and is typically derogatory. It's come to mean uncouth and classless.
