What is Chafter?

This is a term used mainly in South-Eastern Ireland. It means to see someone later or see them "after". Another widely used term is shlaterwhich means pretty much the same thing.

"Aw sorry man I have to go, chafter!"

"Shit my mom is callin' me, chafter!"
