Charz

What is Charz?

1.

The written form of 'cheers' spoken with a posh, upper-class British accent. Often incorrectly spelt as 'chars'.

Most commonly used mockingly or in ironic self-reference by the filthy working classes; aka: the Great Unwashed.

Toff 1: I'd like to propose a toast to incestuous blood relations, the monarchy, and horse teeth.

Toff 2: I'll drink to that old chap! Charz!

Pauper 1: Get us a pint o' grog an' sum pork scratchings.

Pauper 2: Only if yous stop boning me wife.

Pauper 1: No probs! Charz mate.

See cheers, chars, charz, toast, thanks
