To a baby or youngin; a large creature (namely an elder) that grabs a-hold of cheeks and wiggles them in such a flailing manner that children hate.
Mom: Hey honey, guess who's coming to see you??
Little Johnny: Who's that mom?
Mom: Grandma! She'll be here any minute now...
Little Johnny: Not that cheek monster!
Mom: Now Johnny, don't be that way! She's your grandmother!
