Famous for the girl the town was named after (Chelsea George). Even as a mentally challenged person, fighting huge difficulties, They say that her determination to move back to Seattle, was enough to inspire a revolution. She was bullied frequently when she first arrived to the area of Bend oregon, people called her "Dee Dee Dee" girl. That is why the town was organized and now over 300 people are residents of Chelsea George. When she moved away the entire town came together and sang along to the Fort Minor song, "where'd you go, I miss you so, seems like it's been forever since you've been gone, please come back home."
