What is Chi-curious?

Chi-curious is a term used to refer to a male (often white) who does not necessarily suffer from "yellow fever," but who feels or shows some curiosity in establishing sexual activity or a relationship with someone of Chinese or, more generally, East Asian descent.
"Does Lawrence have
yellow fever all of a sudden? I saw him with that half-Japanese girl last night."
"No, he's only chi-curious. He just needs to get it out of his system."
