What is Chilly-whop?

A chilly-whop many times is used to define a poorly hit shot in competitive or recreational golf, particularly an approach shot. Generally a chilly-whop is followed by an excessive string of expletives and/or a firm toss of the club.
"Fuck me in the face," what's wrong Chandler did Pat get attacked by a banshee or a pack of wolves, "No but Pat just chilly-whopped that last shot."
