What is Chordfest?

A song where the guitar work for the song is mainly or completely comprised of chords and it is usually very boring to play and won't impress anybody you show it to.
I loaded up the Ramones guitar tab, but decided not to learn any after all because every one of their songs were extremely easy chordfests that wouldn't impress anybody.
