What is Chronamut?

Chronamut was the god of dragons and time. According to mythology he was considered a chronicaller, documenting all that transpires, and interfering little with the world. He interferes only when is needed and generally leaving no evidence of his interferance. As a result little is known about him, or his powers. He is depicted as possessing extraordinary long and volumnuous hair the colour of the sea, with a golden crown, angelic wings, and clothes made from various animals, with green eyes and a carefree expression on his face. Occasionaly he is seen with an ornate staff which he uses to channel his will.
Some argue that chronamut is an offspring of chronos - or father time.
In modern times Chronamut is a musician on newgrounds and an artist on deviantart. Over the years he has created hundreds of artwork and songs.
since 2003 Chronamut has been submitting music to newgrounds, and has amassed a wide audience and fanbase, and is considered a "celebrity" of sorts. He is best known in the forums as "chron" and tries to use his experience and seniority to help others. Unfortunately this very behaviour is seen as some to make him conceited and egotistical. He can also tend to be unpredictable and possess a strong character, although some say this is part of his charm. Despite what some may se as his "flaws" Chronamut is widely loved in the audio community.
In order to help the audio portal on newgrounds, chronamut has also created an irc channel on QuakeNet called #newgrounds_audio in order to divert some of the unrelated content away from the audio forums that seems to leak in and cause havoc, spamming, and whatnot.
Chronamut is also a strong advocator for gay rights, being of that orientation himself. He has helped many people come to grips with who they are and take the steps needed to accept themselves.
the name "chronamut" or "chron" has also become universally associated with homosexuality on newgrounds.
