The text message language ( txt spk)of abbreviations that is further extended to instant messaging- "chatting"- on a computer. cht spk stands for chat speak. Generally, In cht spk, the use of vowels in long words is eliminated, and any word or syllable that sounds like a number is written as a number. silent letters are eliminated, and letter combinations are replaced with a similar sounding single letter if possible.
