An unnecessary extension or addition to a joke or comment which causes the audience to have a will to banish the "churneyer" from society.
Person A: "Do you like my tie?"
Peron B (i.e the one "churneying"): "Yes, but I'm not sure that you shoes are polished enough, since if they were I would be able to see my face in them."
