What is Cinnamon Woods?

Cinnamon Woods a.k.a. Criminal Hoods or C-Dub, is a townhouse community in Germantown, Maryland. I lived there for 19 years so I know the truth about it. Many people think it is a dangerous ghetto inside the diverse montgomery county suburb town of germantown a.k.a. G-Town. I'm not saying it felt comfortable to walk up and down the streets late at night but I didnt need a gun in my pants to feel safe. You might occasionally hear about someones Jordans getting robbed right off of their feet and the occasional shooting (every 3 or so years) but that is just as likely to happen right down the street in large single family home communities. And yeah the drug dealers stand on the corners all day and its obvious but if u don't snitch on them then you have nothin to worry about. Besides, the cops are too stupid to go in there anyways and bust them. I never had anything stolen from me although i know people who did and i was never robbed at gun point although i know people who were. The bullets don't fly like they say and people don't die everday. It is by no means a ghetto considering 1200 square foot townhouses are selling for $300,000. I might have been one of two white people left on my block because all the mexicans, asians, blacks, indians and whoever were moving in but that comes with the territory of montgomery county. All I'm saying is if you don't fuck with the wrong people then they won't fuck with you. C-Dub isn't as bad as they say so stop acting like its fucking gangster. I'm a white boy that lived there for 19 years and by no means am i ghetto or a drug dealer and i wasnt shot or stabbed. I'm a college student with a 3.5 GPA and i'm doin alright. Its a great place to live and i'm glad i grew up there. But i'm also glad i left because it probably will go to shit. People need to stop trying to be gangsters and get a life. You aren't gangsters, you live in the SUBURBS. Cut out the violence and drug dealing, its just stupid. Get off your lazy asses and get the best education around a.k.a. Northwest High School, and get a job. MoCo, G-Town, C-Dub 4 life!
