What is Clean Steal?

A clean steal happens when one of your friends leaves something at your house for so long that they forget you have it. Once they forget it used to be theirs, it becomes yours.
Jim: Dude, isn't that my Zelda game?
Greg: It's been over here for like six months and you totally forgot I had it. Clean steal, dude.
Jim: Alright, good call.
