short for elcectic
group name in the same catagory as those such as indie or emo.
applies to all those who do not fit in a certain cliche and prefere to mix their tastes
first invented by Sophie Nesbitt and Katie Tindle of the north east of england when they realised they werent elegible to join any other kind of group
anyone can be a clec, unless they are anything else. IF YOU ARE INDIE, EMO, GOTH, PUNK, NEW RAVE OR A MEMBER OF ANY OTHER SIMILAR GROUP YOU ARE NOT A CLEC. a clec is purely a mix and match of all if these groups
