The plural of "Cletus", based on the character "Cletus, The Slack-Jawed Yokel" in "The Simpsons". A "Cletus" is an un-educated, backwoods, redneck with a southern accent. It uses the Latin-based plural-form, of course.
"There were so many fucking, retarded "cleti" at Wal-Mart today, you couldn't walk down the aisle!"
