What is Clingy?

A boyfriend/girlfriend or possibly someone who likes you who becomes let's say, obssesed. Signs that your boyfriend/girlfriend is clingy: doesn't stop calling, constantly tells you how much they love/like you, writes you songs, buys you flowers/chocolate so much it gets annoying, and wants to spend time..all the time.
For serious cases they may begin talking about moving in, or marrige after only a month!
Example:
Sally:When I first started dating Bob it was ok..but now..he's always around me, my answering machine is never empty, and he's best friends with my mom!
Sally's friend: Damn that's clingy!

A boy/girl who latches on after meeting them once or after "hooking-up" with them.
This could also be a person who won't stop calling and you should have never given them your number.
Dude that Ashley girl is clingy as hell. All you did was makeout with her and now she won't leave you alone. FUCK!

When a person becomes annoying by always wanting to be around you, talking to you, calling you and just basically suffocating you.
I see why Robert doesn't like Kelly. She won't leave his fuckin' ass alone. What a clingy bitch!

not knowing when people don't want you around and you dont leave them alone. you are up there ass constantly. the person drops hints all the time, and yet you still dont pick up on it. being clingy is NOT a good thing. it is usally a result of not having many friends. and then become way to close to fast for people because you dont want to loose them.
also clingy people have a tendancy to talk about potential relationships that will never happen. either because they're fat, ugly of the person is simply out of there leage.
person one: omg she gets on my nerves.
person two: isnt she so annoyingg.
person one: yes! im so sick of her.. she's so rude to. she walked in my house the other day while my brother was there and didnt even ask or knock.
person two: that is so rude.

person one and person two. just walk away thinking. gosh she is so clingy... as clingerr follows. like she alwayss does.
