The method in which a male bird fertilizes the ovum of a female bird. The male and female press their cloacals (a prosterior opening which functions as the end of the reproductive, digestive, and urinary tracts) together for a few moments to transfer sperm to the female.
Mel: Whoa are those birds rubbing their butts together?
