What is Close Button?

1. The button that will close a window while operating a computer.
2. The resource a non technical person will refer to in the event of an unwanted computer mishap or problem no matter how serious or unavoidable.
3. A button that internet users look for but find absent in most flash based pop-ups.
4. A simple way to postpone a notification by a program until next time when the user can repeat the naïve action again without regard for information in the notification or the “Do not ask me again” check box.
"Where is the close button on this thing?"
(Virus Detected) “Dammit! Why won’t this close?!?!”
“It doesn’t matter how many times I press the close button, it comes up every time I start the internet.”
