Closet Avatard Edit Meaning

A person, unlike the avatard, who is obsessed with Avatar: The Last Airbender, but his or her friends don't know it. He/She usually is NOT into anime, therefore liking an animated show is unusual in his/her circle of friends, leading to small amounts of shame regarding his/her fandom. He/she will come up with lame/not lame excuses or lies to be home friday nights to watch Avatar, buy the DVD's but keep them hidden, and other such traits. Closet Avatards sometime come out of the closet if one of their friends turns out to like it aswell.

There's nothing wrong with liking A:TLA, but since it's animated, my friends will think it's dumb!

I'm a closet avatard. I don't want people to think I'm an anime obsessed person when I'm just into one, NOT anime animated show!
