A stupid action regarding company layoffs of personnel. First seen in use by Jim Borgman, editorial cartoonist for The Cincinnati Enquirer.
Management thought it would save money, but the
clownsizing just means the few of us left are working 60-hour weeks, too exhausted to think coherently.
