What is Club Search?

The inevitable search that ensues any time a group of people leave a club. Typically the search is for missing purses, cell phones, digital cameras, scarves, hats or gloves.
Club searchers are easy to spot as they are all lifting up seat cushions, checking coat and pants pockets, and looking in dark corners of the club.
I left my camera right under my coat, but couldn't find it when we were about to go. I had to lead a club search and found it under a table.
