A running joke / buzzword within the Muslim community, referring to the power of the news media to mis-educate people about the practices and beliefs of Muslims.
"That's CNN Islam." ("That's a popular misconception about Islamic beliefs.")
"You got your Islam from CNN." ("You've been mis-informed as to the actual practices and beliefs of Muslims.")
