What is Coastism?

–noun 1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various people of the United States determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that those living on a coast is superior to others, especially middle America.
2. hatred or intolerance of people from middle america.
3. The belief that where one grew up in the US accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular area is superior to others.
4. Discrimination or prejudice based on being raised on a coast.
I think I've developed coastism after hanging out with all those knuckleheads from Arkansas today.
