What is Cod Syndrome?
1.
The act of constantly backing away from enemies after killing them in a first person shooter, thinking they have the Call of Duty 4 and or Call of Duty World at War perk, Martyrdom enabled. This paranoia of live grenades being dropped with every kill carries into other first person shooters, like Halo, even though they do NOT have Martyrdom.
"Ive played too much Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty World at War that I got CoD Syndrome. So now when i try to play Halo, i think everybody has martyrdom, so i back away from them after i get the kill!"
