The term "code gold" refers to a situation, person or object that is extremely awesome! It is the upmost form of appraisal. "code gold" can simply be used instead of the phrase "the best" or "perfect".
Originates from lifeguard radio codes such as code red, code brown...etc. Can be used so public does not know what you are talking about.
