a term for making an excuse to leave a room full of people to spend one on one time with a significant other. the excuse doesn't actually have to be " i need help fixing my computer," its just a universal term for any excuse
John- oh betty, i have a busted computer in the other room do u think u can help me fix it.
or
" did u hear that, jim jsut asked sally to help him "wash dishes" in the other room, he's computer fixing
