A pointed brass or steel stud that is almost exclusively worn by punksin their belts, leather jackets, collars, etc. Differs from the more common pyramid stud in that it resembles a small spike with a dull point. Very rare to see nowadays; it has been overshadowed by the smaller, more dress-code friendly pyramid studs.

Today some moron at school was giving Dillon shit for being a punk so he belted the poor guy with his cone stud belt, taking out an eye and a front tooth.
