Consorpient

What is Consorpient?

1.

A description of that state of being which is both satisfying and sufficient - neither wonderful to excess nor barely acceptable. To be consorpient is to be in that agreeable state of plenitude. First heard from Suzi G in the late 1990s and Geoffrey B in the mid 1980s. Geoffrey said that he had, in turn, first heard it from one Michael Marshall in the early 1980s, in Cheshire, England. There is the antonym, inconsorpient, which negates this pleasant state.

"This party is adequately consorpient!"

"Indeed - a full drink, a warm fire and a genial host."

See consorpient, satisfactory, copacetic, agreeable, delightful
