a small white town in Upstate New york. As a result the kids are left with nothing else to do but get drunk and smoke in the woods. But its not like the kids there care, in fact ask them and they'll tell you they know nothing else and like it that way.
" hey what are you doing tonight?"
"i dont know"
"Wanna go to Syracuse?"
" Fuck that, I'm from Cortland! Let's buy a 30 rack and get drunk in the woods"

A small, white town in upstate New York about 45 minutes south of syracuse. The kids are therefore left with nothing to do but get drunk, smoke and throw parties in the woods. It may seem boring to you but ask any kid from there and the'll tell you thats its definately a good time.
