What is Cough It Off?

When you or someone else does something extremely embarrassing and all you can do is "cough it off"
This is much like "walking it off" but only for embarrassment instead of pain
Friend 1 - Oh man did you see Tom lose his pants in front
of that group of hot chicks
Friend 2 - Ya man he totaly just had to cough it off
I felt so bad for him
