What is Creem?

A populist rock magazine that ran from 1969 to 1988. Started in Detroit by Barry Kramer, it promised to be a "rock 'n' roll magazine for the people". Featured famous authors and critics such as Robert Christgau, Dave Marsh, Patti Smith, Greil Marcus, Cameron Crowe and Lester Bangs.
