What is Cult Lit?

A class offered to freshmen and sophomores at a select few school districts. Its a dumbass course where you learn everything about art history and literature from every time period imaginabe so that it's actually painful to look at Greek, Roman, or Renaissance art.
Guy 1: ugh there's that stupid cult lit test today and i didn't study!
Guy 2: don't worry I came up with a song for memorizing the parts of a column from bottom to top-- Stylobate, base, shaft, capital, metope, triglyph, frieze, cornicce, pediment!
Guy 1: wtf?!?!?!?!
teacher: excellent song, but you still fail epically
