Someone who is generally introverted in the real world but finds the cyber world a safe place where s/he can open up and live a virtually active and extroverted life, gathering friends, socializing and sharing thoughts in a way that s/he cannot do outside the cyber world. This person may have perceived hang ups, addictions, vulnerabilities, inadequacies, or personality issues that get in the way of socializing in the real world that are not as apparent online, or maybe it's just more fun.
Though Bob was often thought of as being socially awkward, he was actually a cybervert who socialized like a rockstar on line, gathering hundred's of fb friends a month.
