What is Cyz?

It seems to be typo of the word cya, as the "z" key is just below the "a" key. I've noticed that more people I have talked to have been using this on purpose.
It was supposed to mean (but shortened) "See ya" originally, but now has been transformed into "See yas" or "See yaz" as in a plural form.
Person 1: g2g bye
Person 2: cyz
