What is Dave Mustaine Syndrome?

When someone is involved with a project, only to be removed from the project and go on to watch the project achieve great success. The person usually feels chronic jealousy of his former partners and will take any oppurtunity to run them down, named for Metallica's original lead guitarist Dave Mustaine who was kicked out before the band's big break.
