What is Day Labor?

Usually Mexicanoes that stands on street corners waiting for a person to pick them up and employ them. Usually people that needs an extra pair of hands employs them.

I need some day labors to help me make a hamburger.

a term used to describe mexicans who stay on the streets to wait for people to offer them a day job, or, "day labor", usually to do a project and they are paid under the table.

We are short three men to build the house, go find three day labor.
