Sometimes the "days" is considerably lengthened due to the severity of the suprise e.g "dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys of our lives!!"

"Daaaaaaaaays of our lives!!!"
Can be shortened to just "days!".
