Dead water is called so because of the new 'aquaceuticals' market of 'enhanced' or 'designer water', like Propelmade by Gatorade rich in calcium/ sodium/ potassium/ magnesium/ chloride 'lytes (electrolytes) and trace-vitamins or those that come with caffiene (or, 'caffienated water').
