What is Deadish?

When a regular IRC user doesn't log on for a certain period of time, usually several days, or more commonly, as short as a few hours.
<bob> where is joe he hasn't been on for days?
<john> oh hes not been on.. disappeared without a trace...
.. weeks later...
<joe> hi
<bob> OMG we thought you were dead!!!
<joe> no, only deadish!

When a thread dyes due to the original thread maker posting the title or original message in all caps. This causes the thread to lack all reasons of discussing the topic due to other people complaining about the title or original message being in all caps.
