An Italian family member who has Blonde hair and Blue eyes cause their ancestors weren't raped and pilaged by foreigners.
Actually, historically Italians are light skinned light hair. Italians didn't begin having dark skin and hair until the Moors conquered Sicily. They bred with the light skin/hair Italians and passed on their genetic make up. Over the years, the half white half black offspring bred through many generations making what is today a dark haired/ olive skinned population.
