A combination of the words deceitful and facetious. Using a truthful and/or sarcastic statement to perpetuate a mistruth.
Letting someone believe what they want to believe
"So did you end up going home with that guy I have a crush on last night?"
Honest answer "We left the party early, went back to his place, fooled around for a while but I was home pretty early."
Dececious answer "He was cute, but not really my type. I was tucked up in my own bed by one"
