Central part of dowtown Dallas, TX filled with clubs, bars, tattoo shops, etc. The ultimate party & clubbing spot for the weekend in D-Town.
Guy: We're going to Hush this weekend... do you want to go?
Girl: Sure! Where is it?
Guy: On Main St. in Deep Ellum.

Originally DEEP ELM, but mispronounced for so long, it became known as DEEP ELLUM. Once a thriving area full of bars, clubs, and venues, located just east of Downtown, it has declined to place where people go only on occation. Once a very live and fun place to be, it is now only a sad sight with the occasional sparks of life.
SAVE DEEP ELLUM!!!
Deep ellum is dying, we must save it!!

actually its deep ELM, as in ELM the street. stupid ass. some say its pronounced deep ellUM, but it is actually deep ELM
There is nice elm street, with expensive lofts, and if you keep going south on it, you will start seeing clubs, aka DEEP ELM.not deep ELLUM.
