What is Deftonean?

A over the top obsessive cult member/fan member of the Deftones, an overly hyped band that plays simplistic music at slow elongated tempos to whispering lyrics with short burst of screaming in between. You can spot one of these fans because they have invented their own language and speak in code through song lyrics. If a female fan you will find 'rx queen' on their myspace or any other similar song title. Such fans also create theyre own tribute pages to deftones in a lame attempt to gain myspace friends to up their friend count total and to socialize with other cult members. Said fans claim if you 'go to a show you'll see why they're the greatest ever'; 'its orgasmic' referring to the live show. But this is just overhype created by the female fan base, which appeals to the deftones brand of music because the screaming reminds them of a former boyfriend.
