Suddenly getting a lot of negative karma points on internet fora with the Karma system, where you can "applaud" (+1) or "smite" (-1) users for being good or bad. The total of your karma points is usually shown below your avatar.

The newbie was very rude to a couple of members and got dekarmalized.
