A portmanteauof demagogue and blogger, it is a person who uses a blog as a soapboxfrom which to preach to the unwashed masses and the rest of the world.

Compare to pedablogger, who uses their blog to educate rather than to orate.

Pete with his 'rant of the day' is one of the most entertaining demabloggers I know.
